Today i had maths and WWLT (we were learning to) add transfer money to time and find out the question which was at what time did the parking meter expire?

overall it was easy in my opinion krystan thought it was too im in the otago maths extention so i normally do harder maths so yeah btw my group is Corann Krystan and I

Today we did a semi-test of which included magic squares (also called multiplication squares)  and double and single digit multiplication algorithim. the algorithim was easy i'll run you through it say for example the question was 48x9 in algorithim format

WALT use magic squares and become more famililar with them. we did a few magic square problems and as always i got a right. We had to solve 3 of them so far, little magic squares big magic squares and decimal magic squares. But hold there, there is one BIG rule the numbers on the outside MUST be three times as big as the number in the middle here is one of many examples of how to solve it on magic squares sheets. OBSERVE 😀😀😀

Coding (hour of code)

On Thursday 30th of august I did coding for my MILP (math independent learning priorities)

In my opinion it is pretty easy but is does get more and more challenging as your charecter gets to a higer level anyway coding is one of my free time activitys. there is aload more coding games but code combat takes 1st place always 

Maths groups

Ms Baker  had a birthday party

A She made a huge birthday cake 

The recipe needed 10.2/3 of cups of flour and 7.1/3 cups of sugar.
Ms Baker only had a third cup measure.
How many third cups of sugar and flour does she need?

A   Flour
  10x3=30
  30+2=32
      Sugar
  7x3=21
  21+1=22

At the end of the party there 17 eighths of chocolate log
How many chocolate logs are there
