So about a week ago my class and I had to do this activity about recycling paper and scrap bins. so pretty much it's kinda self-explanity so im not gonna talk anymore 😀

A few weeks ago we had the oppitunity to go to the gisborne enviro centre and learn about sustainability. we went there to learn about gissy kai rescue, worm farm, compost and a shop with reuseable items. gissy kai rescue is for Charities who need money and food for donations and give outs. in the shop they reuseable items that include metal straws with cleaners so that you can clean them also they have wooden toothbrushes that are also compostable but they have plastic bristles that you can rip off and then you can say the rest of the toothbrush in the compost. Mrs Mcvey took some photots and I have them here ⇩

Last week i did some inquiry on Sustainability. Sustainability means:By google dictonary

We had to draw and label some pictures. Here is a close up of them. 

I really enjoyed labelling (mainly because it was easy). I found the drawing harder (because im bad at drawing. Right now im going home after school and finding what else can go into the different compost layers.
