Today we did a semi-test of which included magic squares (also called multiplication squares)  and double and single digit multiplication algorithim. the algorithim was easy i'll run you through it say for example the question was 48x9 in algorithim format

WALT use magic squares and become more famililar with them. we did a few magic square problems and as always i got a right. We had to solve 3 of them so far, little magic squares big magic squares and decimal magic squares. But hold there, there is one BIG rule the numbers on the outside MUST be three times as big as the number in the middle here is one of many examples of how to solve it on magic squares sheets.
